Information for “Out of Network” or Non-Contracted Plans

If you check with your insurance company and find that Dr. Benderev is “Out of Network”, ask if you are eligible for a partial reimbursement of your cash payment for services. If so, please let us know and we will submit an insurance claim to your insurer.

It’s your responsibility and a good idea, before seeing your provider, to reach out to your insurer to check any benefits with Dr. Benderev (via the phone number on the back of your insurance card or via their website). You’ll want to ask about further actions that you might need to take to collect any “out of network” benefit payment after we submit the claim, as well as checking on your deductible amount and restrictions.
